About the company

A small technical firm, kept small on purpose

LTRX Pty Ltd works on the control, network and instrumentation layer of Victorian plant — the part that has to be right before anything else can be trusted.

Where we sit

Based at Lara, working across the Geelong corridor and regional Victoria

The company is registered in Victoria and operates from Lara, postcode 3212 — close enough to the Geelong industrial corridor for a same-day site visit, and far enough west to make regional callouts practical rather than theoretical.

Clients are typically manufacturers and processors, water and utility operators, transport and logistics depots, and commercial facilities with plant rooms that nobody wants to think about until they stop.

We take on work where the outcome is measurable: a loop that reads correctly, a link that stays up, a sequence that runs the way the operator expects it to. If the job does not have a test at the end of it, it is probably not ours.

How a job runs

Four stages, in this order, every time

The sequence matters: skipping the survey is how a two-day cutover becomes a two-week one.

Site survey

We walk the plant, open the panels, photograph what is actually installed and reconcile it against whatever drawings exist. Most sites have at least one surprise here.

Scope and design

You get a written scope: what is being changed, the equipment selected and why, the I/O schedule, the test plan, and the rollback position if the cutover has to be abandoned.

Build and cutover

Panels and configuration are prepared off-site wherever possible so that time inside your shutdown window is spent connecting and proving, not building.

Commission and hand over

Loops are checked point by point and signed off. You receive as-built drawings, controller backups and the calibration records with the final invoice.

How we work

Commitments we are willing to be held to

The documentation is part of the job

As-builts, I/O schedules, network diagrams and controller backups are delivered as a condition of completion, not offered afterwards as an extra.

You keep the keys

Source projects, passwords and configuration files belong to you. No locked controllers, no dependency on us for a change we did not have to make.

Honest timing

If a shutdown window is too short for the work, we say so before it is booked rather than halfway through the second night shift.
